The Prestige Group cele­brated its Foundation Day on September 17 to mark 90th birthday of its Founder, Padmhsri Dr Nemnath Jain. The event was marked by a variety of cultural programmes and some new academic announcements. The function was graced by various state ministers, politicians in­cluding the Madhya Pradesh Home Minister and district In charge Minister, Dr. Narottam Mishra, Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Minis­ter Mohan Yadav, State Water Resources Minis­ter Tulsi Silawat, former Lok Sabha speaker Sum i­tra Mahajan, BJP na­tional general secretary Kailash Vijayvergiya, BJP MLA Ramesh Men­dola and Indore City BJP president Gaurav Randive. Besides, noted acad­emicians, entrepreneurs, social workers and distin­guished people of the city also attended the Founda­tion Day ceremony. They all greeted and wished Padmashri Dr Nemnath Jain on his 90th birthday.

The Prestige Education Foundation chairman Dr. Davish Jain and his wife Monica Jain announced Dr. N.N. Jain Faculty Chair for Applied Re­search in Advance Tech­nology & Management Application, IPR and Commercialization. The selection of Dr. N N Jain Faculty Chair would be made by a distinguished panel and the basis of his contributions in the re­search and development works in any stream of technology. Faculty to be selected for this presti­gious chair would be given a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh besides other financial and academic incentives for his research works
PIEMR Director Dr. Manojkumar Deshpande announced the opening of Padmashri Dr. N.N Jain Centre of Excellence for Industry 4.0 at PIEMR for further research works in the new age and emerging technologies. To mark the occasion PIEMR entered into MoU with JANATICS India Pvt. Ltd for R&D, Training and Consultancy. The MOU was exchanged between Dr. Ashna & Er. Ketan Jain, Director PIMER.

The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises Government of India announced the name of the Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research, Indore as the “Host Institution, Tech-nology Business Incubator” under Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development through Incubators scheme supported by MSME, Government of India.
